i have made it one piece to vietnam! my china tour ended in guangzhou last friday, it was really sad to say goodbye to the tour group :( they were the loveliest people. we had a nice farewell dinner at a restaurant with pigs intestines, feet and other yummy delights on the menu and parted ways. rachel came and met me on friday also :) guangzhou wasnt a very nice city, very busy and dirty and not much going on in it so we wanted to get to vietnam as soon as possi...

so much has happened since my last entry! so will try compress the information into this one entry! been to dali, kunming and yangshuo (where i am now) since the last time i updated. last tuesday we headed to dali. i liked it much more than zhongdian, was a nice little ancient town with roasting hot weather and yummy food :) just like in western cities there are china towns, in dali there is 'foreigner street' which is lined with shops and bars and restaurants ...

hi all! so as usual been super busy - china is very tiring! there is so much to see and do and you have very little time to sleep! on wednesday we took yet another night train on our way to lijiang. it was a 14 hour journey and unfortunatly all of us had the top bunk beds which was like being in a coffin! you couldnt even sit up and the ladder to the top was scary! we had some drunken chinese men beside us that just sat drinking 'alcohol' - thats all it is, not...
