The views at Gjógv were spectacular. The best of the trip so far, mainly because the other days were mostly clouds.
The island you see in the distance is Kalsoy. Maybe 10 miles long and one mile wide. No flat ground. As soon as you get off the ferry the one road goes north through 4 tunnels. I'm still thinking about driving there tomorrow but, since ot is Saturday the ferry connections are poor and I'd have to wait for 6 or 8 hours to return. Still conjuring that one. Plus, I'd have to drive through 4 of the single track tunnels. My knuckles are white enough already!
