Here's a little history on Nolsoy.

Here I am relaxin at the beach. The beach is a couple of hundred meters down the cliff. A lot of cliffs in the Faroes.

Today I took a ferry to the island of Nolsoy. The island is 5 or 6 miles long. I chose this island because it had better ferry service on a Sunday. Most ferries have limited services on weekends. Did I tell you my strategic error? I waited too long to try and reserve a car. They were sold out over 90 days ago. That's what I get for traveling here on their national holiday! So it's buses and ferries for me, which means my hiking choices are far more limited.
