stay in 2 small villages. Smoking chimneys, people cutting logs for fires, homemade jams like at your grandmothers. Fishing village. Hardly nowhere open to eat apart from someones home.

Pass at night.. arriving at chilean border at 9pm and realising we´ll do rest of ripio road in dark. Hard level of pebbles.. hitting ruta 40 at 1am and the joy of seeing a tarmac road!!
