Well. This is a low scoring disappointment from the second cafe in the Australian War Memorial. Good temperature. Thin milk crema. Strong and nasty. It's lunchtime, so they're a bit rushed, but there's no excuse for the coffee tasting like this. We rate it the same as McDonalds. As Alex would say, the book has been thrown!AB

Moody customer service, although we did dare to order a coffee at 4.55pm, which is obviously outrageous. A takeaway, it was waaay too hot, and quite thin. It improved slightly once it had cooled, but then got worse again. A coffee taste sandwich! Machine: LiraAB

Ah yes, now that's better. A return to form, guaranteed by a Gallery coffee shop. Simple and straightforward, this flavour had us buzzing again. Good temp, well made, with water. Just not spectacular. AF

We awoke just in time to feed ourselves on the Flying Fox free breakfast. It's worth noting, I think, that this has been the ONLY hostel/backpackers to offer free breakfast in Australia.
