After walking around for a while we arrive at a castle based hostel after the first one turned us away, only one bed free, after a long coach journey you need your own bed! Arrive in Recife after an overnight coach from Salvador. We decide to have a quiet couple of days so we head just outside of the city to a town called Oylinda, find a hostel in which we are given the garden shed to stay in. Bit of a hole but we take it easy for a day, tempted for a dip in the sea but Matt mentions to me that this place is a shark breeding ground so decide to give the dip a miss, don't want to get tied up in that! Set off at 15:30pm, slightly hungover, which is excellent planning for a 27 hour coach journey from Rio to Salvador.
