Showered, dressed and packed ready to go I gobble down the last of the jalapeño and cheese bread I'd bought from Subway the other night, with the cup of tea I'd picked up at Starbucks before we stumbled upstairs, then made our way down to the lobby to wait for the limo to take us to the airport. It was a pretty quiet trip to the airport with all of us trying to stay awake! I had already checked in online 24 hours ago so just a quick baggage drop, through security and sat down at the first place we found to have something to eat.... Unfortunately it was bloody awful and my stomach wouldn't let me have more than about 2 bites... Had nothing to do with the fact I hadn't slept and had been drinking all night! Oh and I walked past a place selling accessories so I managed to pick up a lovely cover for my brand new iPad too! We were only at the gate for about 5 minutes (but it felt like 30) before boarding started, somehow I had got an A boarding and the others all had B... But I waited with Rodd and we got pretty good seats, H & T also managed to get seats together and we all went straight to sleep... I went down the back to the toilet at one stage and they were crashed out, heads back, mouths open, drooling away. The flight was about 4 hours so we got a bit of rest then after a short wait the SAS transportation I had booked arrived to take us from Fort Lauderdale to our hotel in Miami. That was a half hour drive with everyone except me sleeping all the way but finally we arrived at the Habitat Residence in the Brickell area and up to our 2 bedroom self contained unit.... Very nice but they could use some attention to detail. I had booked and paid for this through booking.com in May but for some reason they charged us another night so that started a bit of a argument with them. We kept saying we've paid in full as I had written it on my reservation when the credit card statement had come at home so I'd know which we'd paid and which we still had to pay and they kept insisting we'd only paid half at time of booking. I emailed Debra asking her to take a photo of the statement and she got straight onto it and emailed it back but even with that it took til the day we checked out for them to refund it! Anyway..... We walked to the supermarket which is only a block away and loaded up on supplies then back home where I cooked us a lovely vegetable stir fry pasta with a yummy creamy garlic sauce (yes that was out of a bottle) I did add some beef for the others as well. That pretty much was our first night in Miami, we were all ready for bed very early! 

I cant ant find any photos of our last few hours in Vegas... Just too tired to be bothered taking the camera out I guess!
