Penny's travels
Hi there, well i eventually made it to Melbourne after a few setbacks at the airport, they cancelled my first flight but fortuately called me the day before and put me on a flight for later that day, which Shanti decided to come on with me,unfortunatly they decided to cancell that flight also so there we are at the airport not knowing when we are going to fly but thakfully they put us on a flight 3 hours later which was not to bad,so eventually we took of and landed in an airport just outside of Melbourne(it looked like a shed)on arrival we found a bus which would take us to the city all good so far but then the bus stopped the other side of the train station so on with the backpacks and a 10 min walk which would be fine but my backpack seemed to have gained a fair bit of weight ooops time to throw out a few things! we eventually found the right train which would take us to Shanti\'s auntie\'s house where we were planning to stay for the night this all went well until we had another 15 min walk initially up hill ,i\'m deffinately throwing out half my clothes! but we made it although rather late and could eventually sit down and relax. The next day i had a day of lazing around and then went shopping in the afternoon BIG MISTAKE!!! I ended up buying a pair of jeans they were such a bargain i could not resist only $15 but not helping with the heavy backpack but had a great time with Shanti\'s auntie she was a lovely iady and took good care of us but the next day it was time to move on so we said our goodbyes and moved on to the city where i found a backpackers by the station (not too far to walk this time) and then went out for a drink with Shanti and later met up with a couple of guys who were really friendly and chatted to them for a while but Shanti and one of the guys had to leave to catch buses and trains so i stayed with Ross and went for a walk to the casino where they have towers of flame and dancing water very nice!! we then decided to go bowling, i lost! so i decided it was time to call it a night so i could get up early today to plan my trip along the great ocean road and that what i\'m about to do ,so don\'t forget to keep intouch and i\'ll catch up with you soon Penny xx
