fleabags
I've included this in here because- although not having left the country yet, this was something we planned for ages and attempted a few weeks before I embarked, almost a training run for the JMT. Well we did pretty well, 24 miles, 15 3000ft peaks in 15hours 8 minutes, some sore feet and painful knees but it was a good day out. Even the extra 3 miles along the never ending track and the rave-dinner we had in bangor's most bangin' club where vicky was certain i might meet my future husband whilst drenched in the sweat and grime of the last 24hours and in full waterproof gear...wasnt that bad. The cider tasted nice. I am slightly concerned about my knee for the JMT but hopefully it'll hold up.
