Just got back from Perth - had to make a special trip to warn them of your arrival. Was really lovely to see you both in Cape Town and special thanks to you flavs for telling Alex he has to now marry me! It was ok for you to scare your own boyfriends off but to start work on mine is taking it too far. :) Alex has now done a runner...last seen boarding a plane for an unknown destination....

Am doing some loin-girding at the moment in order to face dealing with the gigantic mound of personal possessions you appear to have left in our house. Thought I should let you know - the UK has been struck by a freak heat wave. Tony Blair has declared the rest of March a national holiday so everyone can enjoy the sunshine, and the pubs are giving out free beer. People in London are walking around in beach gear being nice to strangers and throwing huge street parties every night. In short, were all having much more fun than you, and are in no way jealous of your travels. Ah well, you cant win them all. Try to have a good time anyway and don't miss home too much!
