Jane's Travels
Well, just a short entry now as group emails have been requested by some of you so I am going to do a more detailed group email and a brief journal entry. No photos i'm afraid as these poxy computers won't let me-honestly, my sister can do it in vietnamese internet cafes but oz can't manage it!
Ok, so we are now in Darwin and knackered.
We spent 2 days in Katherine where we did a wicked gorge walk and swam in an amazing hidden waterfall and pool.
We then got the greyhound to Darwin where we had one night before going walkabout. 2 days camping in Kakadu and 1 day in Litchfield. Totally amazing and we are now addicted to swimming in crystal clear pools as we swam in so many! We got so hot in the unrelenting sun that the cool pools were a must. The guide we had was fantastic. He had been brought up in an aboriginal community in kakadu and knew so much. We had didgaridoo lessons round the campfire and kangeroo stir fry for dinner. It has actually been hard to come back to a city after time in the bush.
That's it and it hasn't actually been that short! Oh well.
Take care.
Jane
