Nelson was the next stop on our around NZ tour. Given that it is reputedly the sunniest place in New Zealand we had planned a bit of beach time for a few days before heading into the North Island so you can imagine that we were a little miffed that it wasn't blazing hot weather. So we wandered around the town, saw the river which was little more than a dribble (which suggested we had just missed the sun), walked around the shops, even contemplated watching a film...

He was very brave and it did look incredibly scary but it was all over in a matter of seconds and was nothing compared to a 12000 feet sky dive! Oh yes, me little s*** scared wittrick did a bloody ski dive out of a plane!! It was terrifying but so glad I did it and I can now say a bungy at 47 metres is a little piddly...
