So have taken a stroll around breaky creek area in brissie...

Wandered over the road ...Been years since have been to Newstead House... Where General MacArthur commanded the pacific defences from apparently.

Fabulous old humpy ( ok its a house - just fantastic), great gardens just brilliant area for picnic /chilling / lapping up this fabulous sunshine!!!! (Bloody beautiful mate!!! ) While watching the river traffic pass by. (Yeah, am doing it tough!) - crikies i forgot me fishing rod!!!

While sitting here basking like a beached whale (and loving it!!!) a pair of rainbow lorikeets flew in to a nearby tree and got busy with creating a new nesting site in a tree hollow... Just magic!!!

And the brissie river.... Geez the water is clear in parts...
