Hi everyone, I promise this entry will be a lot shorter than the last one! We left Noosa on Wednesday to go upto 1770 where we were due to spend a couple of nights chillin to recharge the batteries in the sun after all the driving and to get ready for more driving up towards Airlie Beach. Before we left Noosa we booked a 2 day and 2 night sailing trip to the Whitsundays on a Maxi yacht called the Boomerang - v.excited! Ended up staying at 17 70 for just one night as the rain has finally caught up with us and there's not much to do apart from lie on a gorgeous beach, so we decided to head up the coast. En route to our stop over in MacKay we found ourselves at the Rum distillery in Bundaberg for a tour of the plant (Bundaberg rum - Aussies fave rum apparantly!) - Interesting but it had a really overpowering smell that we couldn't get over for the rest of the day. We swear the tour guides were on the juice as they were hillarious and corny - brilliant. The bonus to the tour was the 2 free drinks at the end or so we thought. Dont think i'll be sampling this drink again. (i'll stick to the Jack Daniels or the red wine) Ben hates spirits so he wasn't a fan - more like cant take them i say. We are now at Airlie Beach in the rain looking forward to our trip tomorrow. We just hope the sun decides to come out and play - keeping our fingers crossed.
