Fizzz! Your trip is sounding amazing and I feel like you've only just left. Am so jealous and am getting keener by the second to come and join you. Keep the news coming. I am still working in France and now back in Paris after a month in Deauville. I don't really feel like I've had a summer here so sort of thinking about a trip to South America at Christmas, but this time to include Brazil as well as seeing the family in Argentina... still have to work out whether I can afford it or not. Love Bryony's comments about setting up a website. I completely agree, and am very impressed - will you do one for me, in fact perhaps we should all get one. Having set the site up I can't believe you can't work out the photo section and we would love to see some. Maybe Adam will help you!! Am missing you and all the rest of the old godolphin lot - being stuck far too far away in Paris and looking forward to your next installment. Lots and lots of love from Stef xxx

Shes back!! I know its been a while, but one things for sure Canada is quite big....hummm...550 miles to be exact today, and i feel like i'm back in england for its pouring with rain outside! Thankfully we spend tonight in a hotel in Winnipeg, which is bliss, as much as i love camping, tonight i can rest in piece, no mossies attaching my bottom in this room. So turns out internet is rather hard to come by and with so much to see and do little time to find to write at the moment. But tonight i can make up for it, $8 for internet access in our hotel room all night long and given that we have another 500 miles in the bus to look forward to tommorow i feel i can sleep later.

So much to tell you all. Have seen so much already, quebec city, toronto, ottawa, montreal, lake superior and we are just crossing the centre of canada now, which to be honest is pretty dull and flat, lots of trees, but the leaves are stunning, changing from reds, gold, silvers etc. Have loads of photos, already running out of camera space, but cant quite work out the connections here to put them on this site, but will keep trying. Weather has been amazing hot and sunny till today, bia one day in quebec so camping has been fine, except a nippy at night. And no lissa, no one beats you as a bed buddy, but thankfully suzzie who i share a tent with doesn't snore, but the bears do!

Yesterday was fantastic we spent the afternoon out on kayaks on Lake Superior which is pretty much the size of england, its vast! Quite choppy as well, Adam being the gentlemen that he is said i could sit in the front, great, now i realise why, was completly soaked within 10 minutes but loved every minute of it. Adam and i as the only 2 brits felt it was our duty to live up to the england rowing standards and australia, japan, germany and holland never stood a chance, cruised past them all!

So next major stop is banff for 3 nights, bit of ice walking, mountain biking and hopefully see some bears...have to put everything back on top of the bus each night which will be a tad tedious, but essential they tell us. Raleigh and Chalet skills have prepared me well for the joys of camp cooking and fires, so no shortage there. Thermals doing wonders, in fact for the last 3 nights i've been too hot - well i have also invested in a fleece sleeping bag liner!

Hear you are all wondering why i'm silen. Well we are in the outback and no internet cafes so Mum is doing this for me as I phoned her last night!! Having a great time. Group good and my thermals coming in useful!! Niagra Falls very touristy. Great camp site on edge of Lake Superior, quite beautiful. Yesterday went canoeing fantastic fiun but got somewhat wet. Averaging around 300 miles a day and off tomorow to Winnipeg and then 3 days across the prairies. Now realise how small UK is. Lovely to know you are all thinking of me and 'The lady of the we' is alive and well having at last shaken off the cold she got in New York.

I understand that the girl be on the move, but it would be really good to hear from the Lady of the website, atleast if only so the rest of us can be sure that we are not just chatting amongst ourselves, good as that may be, and if she's not paying attention then we may as well have all the gossip on her in reward for persistently logging-on to her site.

Fizz, hope the thermals are doing the job- you always did look great in a pair of long johns. I have managed to book the "Hot Seat" in Club Rouge for the night of the 21st Sept but couldn't get it for both nights (20th was booked already). Are you sure this is what they will want? Hope your tent buddies don't snore too much x Lissa

Fizzy, where are you at the moment, you are missing grotty weather here, eugh, Monday morning soggy shoes for work! Have you seen the Killer Whales in British Columbia yet? Look out for the grandmother of the killer whales who teaches all the young ones how to rub all the barnacles off along the stones, fascinating and such fun.......please put photos of your adventures on to the website when you have a moment. hope you are having a fab time. lots of love.xxxxxxxx
