So this is the capital of Canada - not quite what you expect from the capital of such a large country. But it is a beautiful city located again on the St Lawrence River, I could bore you with why Queen Victoria choose Ottawa to be the capital but i will spare you the history lesson! What i can tell you is that there is a very french and british feel to the city, the houses of parliament are very similiar to ours. Have taken some very amusing and silly photos with a number of statues...to follow. Did try to get 'thrown out of parliament' but failed, Canadians i dont think quite understand fully the british humour! Had a peek in the Largest Collection of National Art - found the 'Voice of Fire' - a mere $1.7m for 3 strips of paint, i could have added an extra one at no extra cost for that amount. Camping outside the city so had to leave about 6 ish to get the fire started, joy!
