Woke up last night with a start.
Just like someone who sleeps next next to a motorway. Then after ten years, suddenly the trafic stops. And then its to quiet to sleep.
Looked at the clock, it was 2 am.
woke up ma flop. Said "cant sleep, house to quiet, no one down stairs cooking. No beep beep beep of microwave. no smell of pitza, no clinky clanky of knifey and forky. no T.V. blarring outy". Ma flop she say "house quiet because flip flop gone to Japan". You go back to sleep" Woke up at 3am. No good house to quiete. cant sleep! went down stairs, switched on T. V. Then Set microwave to do beepy beepy, put a couple of pitzas in oven. Everything now OK, everything normal, Next time you go to Japan, you set timer on microwave. to do beepy beepy, leave slanket on chair.

And just finished the post on Tokyo, it's pretty rushed but that's sort of irrelevant given that no words could describe what I'm experiencing :P

I'm in Kyoto at the moment, probably the best day so far as we had tons of free time and I decided to get lost in the city, I might come back here in the last few days as there's so much to see and do!

Hi Older Bro, camera is fairing very well, smaller than everyone elses' but better quality batteries are going quick but bought some more today, will be investing in something longer lasting for future travels! Security is pretty stringent here so it's probably a no on the katanas, maybe a plastic one though. I might buy a kimono to replace my slanket. ;D

Hi, glad to hear it's all going ok. Photos look good! Hope the camera is fairing well. Katie said that she is jealous. If you can sneak back any Katanas I'll have 1. Will keep checking your blog!

Managed to upload some photos. I'll try and write a bit more soon, I have so much I want to say but not enough time :( a faster connection would help!

But I'm having a great time and a hell of an experience, I haven't really clicked with anyone in my group but they're all nice. In fact I'm sort of looking forward to being on my own at the end and speaking to some locals. I've picked up a fair bit of Japanese and find it quite surprising when they understand what I'm saying :D Saying that I don't think I would have done half the stuff I've done in double the time if I was by myself!

Hey lee roy, your start of your trip already sounds like an achievement especially finding a toilet seat that you can choose the temperature maybe that will be a new edition to your house back home after your trip. Look forward to seeing the updates matey. Have an awesome time and find many other great inventions.
