Back on the theme park bandwagon today, well Zoo actually. Supposedly one of the worlds best according to the kids it could not be missed. Lach was determined to see all the animals and did a lightning tour with Marie while Warren and the girls sampled the shops, petting zoo and pink flamingos. We closed the journey with the bus tour which surprisingly confirmed we had done pretty well.
The Zoo extended a little long as we didn’t quite make it down the USS Missouri on time. I personnel think that was ok as I was just happy looking at the harbor with the old Americas cup class yachts doing tours. (you would have thought freo could get that up with some old 12m)
Grabbed dinner at Vons and sat a park overlooking the Pacific before driving to the lovely town of Barstow for the night. Next stop Grand Canyon.
