Following up on the Northern Ireland connection and guided by some helpful locals, I came across David & Joan Livingston in the region of Maytown, County Armagh. I'm pretty sure David must be a distant relative, since Great Grandfather Alexander Livingston's birth was registered in Maytown in 1841, where David and his family have lived for several generations. Coincidentally, my late Uncle David's wife was also called Joan. May I say, they were exceptionally pleasant people, in keeping, of course, with family tradition.
