Brother Alois is the "head" brother at Taizé after the founder of Taizé Brother Roger was killed (stabbed during worship by a deranged person) several years ago. On Thursday night Brother Alois gave a talk and introduced a young man from Rwanda who was there. I was able to sit just behind Brother Alois. It was kind of like the United Nations as his talk was in French, but it was translated into about 8 other languages. Brother Alois is sitting to the right of the man in the plaid shirt (the young adult from Rwanda).
