I told Jairo that this was my treat - a gift for him because he suffered more than any in his family... three weeks without his bed and room (his room is currently my room). We had a pretty good conversation for me not speaking much Spanish. I learned that he'll turn 14 in July (his sister shares the same birthday!) and he's thinking about studying graphic design at the university level.
