At schiphol airport waiting to travel to Prague after a wonderful time with Vincent, Co and Wim at Almere, with Jan Marie and Mick. Thank you very much for a fantastic week. We saw Amsterdam in daylight and red-light ((woohoo!); the Arnhem open air museum, muiderslot castle and town and the surrounding area by bicycle; wonderful fairytale Efteling; den Haag (the Hague); the towns of Edam (yes the home of Edam cheese!) and Broek in Waterland with its magnificent old church. Thank you for opening your arms and house to us, and for giving us background and history we could never have gained otherwise. Thank you also for the chance to meet your family and friends including steve and annemiek, catherine, uri and Sebastian. We will not forget the great memories of the Netherlands. Jan Marie you were right about croquettes and frites, and Dutch breakfasts. Oupa!(as they say at the Griek restaurant). JM and Mick we'll see you in Paris!
