Day 4 Seminyak. Late breakfast, bemo corner to change money then taxi to Cafe Moka in Seminyak for French coffee and breads. Long shop crawling walk down to Jalan 66 for lunch on the beachfront. Then through Jayarkarta for cabs to Mall Bali Galeria. Quickest movement through that new underpass area ever, which was a distinct disadvantage later. After a couple of hours shopping through the complex time to head back. One five minute sun shower though as we left and suddenly every taxi meter was broken and market prices applied. Ladies eventually caught a meter cab but we couldn't land one so headed out of the complex to main drag. Problem was the traffic now flows too well so cabs aren't stopping. We eventually navigated eight lanes of flowing traffic moving in three directions (run Forrest, run!) then worked down through the backstreets where the bikes go and made it home. Only a couple of bucks but it was the principle, man!
Chris came in from Canberra with 5 mates, also staying at KTH. Really good to see him.
Also saw the wedding party around KTH- some looking seedier than others.
Massage for all at Shinkei after mexican at TJs - found every bump, bruise, cut, scrape from the tumultuous Bucks Day for Scot. Don't know how I got the sore jaw, but it was the first cruise ever where they'd completely run out of beer - combined Aussie and welsh teamwork!
