Today we had a 'beach day'. I woke up really early on my sofa bed and saw the sun rise above the mountains that surround the Budva bay, the sun gleamed across the water leaving a striking view. Even at 6:30 there was still someone in the water! We had breakfast and then we went down to the beach which mum and Nina had scouted out. We had to go down quite a lot of back roads and in the end it was quite a long walk especially as my flip flop have me a blister, dad...

Today we left split and drove down to Budva in Montenegro, it was quite a long drive but I couldn't do much the state my foot was in anyway. The Croatian motorway had some fantastic views of both the sea and of imposing mountains. We had to pass through Bosnia to get to Montenegro and on the way we stopped of at Dubrovnik we didn't go into Dubrovnik but we stopped off at a view point overlooking the old town.
