Don't worry, we are fine even though the title of this blog might suggest otherwise - all will be revealed. Continuing to ride around the Bay, we left Kotor behind. There were 2 more cruise ships waiting to deliver tourists to town to keep the local economy afloat. The road was very close to the water's edge with only a low brick wall separating us from the water. Only 20 minutes after leaving our apartment in Cavtat we were at the border to exit Croatia. Passports were handed over and we were asked for the Green Card Insurance for the bike. Being old hands at border crossings we were ready with both which were duely presented, examined, stamped, handed back and we were waved quickly through. Hardly a challenge! Feeling pleased with ourselves we rode down the road about 500m and came to the border entrance for Montenegro....

The weather has finally been kind to us just in time for a spectacular ride from Split, passed Dubrovnik and then to Cavtat. With both Greg's action camera and Kerrie's small camera on standby we set off along the coast road. We had only been riding for about an hour when we were stopped by police - well, not stopped personally, everyone was stopped. We had reached Omis, apparently where the most dangerous pirates of the Adriatic came from. We didn't see any pir...

Our ride to Split did not go the way we had planned. We wanted to ride along the coast to take advantage of the great views we had been told about. We started off on the coast but by the time we got to Sibinek the wind was so strong that Greg could barely keep the bike on the road so we turned inland and got on the motorway - much better. We found our apartment up a little cobbled street about a 10 minute walk from both the Riva (water) and the Old Town of Split....
