Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Having not updated the blog since I arrived in Australia I thought it might be time to let you all know how I'm getting on. Had a great Christmas and New Year with Ronnie and Dave which included copius amounts of alcoholic beverages and a great many laughs as well. Got some fantastic photos and videos of the harbour bridge fireworks that I will get onto Facebook as soon as I get an opportunity.

What else have I been doing in Sydney then. Eh, well, watching quite a lot of sport actually. Have been to the SCG twice, once for a T20 game in the Big Bash league and yesterday for the 2nd day of the 2nd test between Australia and India. I've seen quite a few legends of the game then, although Sachin Tendulkar was pretty much restricted to fetching the ball from the boundary yesterday as the Aussies whacked the Indians all over the park. In the T20 managed to see Warnie, looking slimmer than he ever did when he was playing proper cricket and Brett Lee.

Managed to attend an A-League game at the Sydney Football Stadium as well. Most of this is just re-hashing what I've already put on Facebook but thought I'd give the blog a quick update. Fly to Perth tomorrow and will stick a fuller update up when I've more time over there.
