Elizabeth, I am so jealous/envious. I love South America. You guys are beginning a great adventure and as I read your first blog so many wonderful memories surfaced. Josh, one of my first Spanish sentences I learned was "Yo quiero un cafecito doble." That was in Colombia -- a little different from Argentina. Those small espresso style cups were just not enough coffee for me.

When you hit Colombia, let me know if you are going to Cali. I have friends there and would love to try and hook you up. Buena suerte!

Such fun to read along on your blog! I particularly appreciated how something as simple as ordering a cup of coffee can be an adventure. I can still remember role playing with Ahmer before going to the market for the first time.
