Day 58 15/08/2013 Carnarvon to Kennedy Range NP.Fortunately we had no rain overnight, but it was a cool, overcast start to the day. Day 57 14/08/2013 Lighthouse Bay to Carnarvon WA.It was a warm night, with not too much wind. Today was a travelling day, and as such, not that exciting! We didn't rush, leaving the caravan park around 8.30am and headed into Exmouth. Day 56 13/08/2013 Cape Range NP to Lighthouse Caravan Park, North West Cape.Today has been an AMAZING day!It was not too windy in the night. Hurray! We were up at dawn and on our way soon after 7am. Day 55 12/08/2013 Cape Range NP.It was REALLY windy in the night and it hadn't abated by morning. It took 30 minutes to boil water for our morning cup of tea! So....Plan C into action! We drove 10 minutes or so to Mandu Mandu Gorge. We enjoyed a one and a half hour walk, first along the gorge floor....and then up along the gorge rim. Day 54 11/08/2013 Cape Range NP.Once again the wind blew up in the night...it was really gusty at times. Fortunately our kitchen was sheltered from the direct wind and we were able to enjoy a cooked breakfast, although everything took twice as long! After breakfast we packed up, as we had to move sites.
