Our trip has started and we are having a great time. The driving went very well and we have seen amazing landscapes. This is truely the most beautiful state. It is so remote and so pure. We love it!
Our first stay was in Cervantes. We needed to get used to our little new home. We had a campsite right near to the beach and enjoyed our first night with a lovely wine and Yellow :)
The second day we stayed in Sunset beach on a nice quite camping and enjoyed the fact we were on holidays :)
The third day we drove all the way to Monkey Mia... the drive was amazing... the bays are beautiful and the colour of the water is unbelievable blue. The next morning we went to check out the dolfins.... there was a baby dolfin of 3 days old....aaahhhhh... the rest if the day we relaxed, went for a swim and had a nice bbq.
We celebrated newyear in Coral Bay. It is a lovely remote quite place, but had become a crazy party place for the NY!!! We did some lovely snorkeling and walking on the 1st & 2nd of Jan.
The driving from Coral bay to the Karijini National Park was wonderful. We were both astonished by the landscape. The sleeping in the park was not confortable at all with 40 degrees and insects to wake us up early in the morning... So we decided to visit the gorges and falls and leave for 80 mile beach.
As a cyclone has just passed over 80 mile beach, the beach is closed. This is why we have already ended up in Broome.... our final destination in WA. Broome is great. Our campground has a big pool and we are right next to the beach.
I just tried to upload some pictures but it did not work. I will try it again VERY soon.
We miss all our lovely friends in Sydney and think and talk lots about our last week in Sydney. Meanwhile we are looking forward to the rest of the trip in South East Asia and to be closer to our European friends & family.
With love, us
