Hi chidler- hope all is well and you are still enjoying yourself. The sales frenzy has now lifted and I'm back on the fitness regime - went swimming today for the first time in months and really enjoyed it. There's not much news at the minute - Sara is swotting really hard and has an exam on Tuesday and Thursday of next week, so I think she will out celebrating afterwards. She says she might come home as she was only here for about a week at Xmas (think the exams were praying on her mind). Bruno has a new lease of life. He has started to bite your dad's slippers and scuttle about like he used to. He also has a ferocious apetite at the minute. This maybe because he got a new bowl at Xmas and although it looks bigger, I think it only holds about half the amount of the old one. Anyway, he looks really fit and looks like a puppy. Everyone in the family is fine and I'm currently trying to book a short break with Pat to celebrate our birthdays - hers is in Feb and of course, mine is in March. We are trying to get booked up for Bruges on Eurostar, which looks fanatastic. I'm also going to Barcelona with Lois and crew for her hen party in April and maybe, also, a few days in Italy with Jayne and Michael for another short break. The men are all going to Berlin for the stag do, as Easyjet have just started a direct flight there. We went up to see Jean and Val at New Year and Eve and Nicki were there. They both look alike now and are lovely girls. They are both dark and Eve who is living with an Italian in Rome, looks more Italian than him. He not only spoke English better than us, but looked English as well. He is called Danielle. Eves ays that we can go and stay in a friend's flat in the centre of Rome, which she looks after in August, if we want to visit there - so that maybe on also in August.
Anyway, take care and enjoy yourself - will write again shortly your everloving ma, pa and the boy xxxx

Hello Emma,
Happy New Year, we've been having a look at your photos and it looks like your having an excellent time. Very jealous of where you are, we only managed to get as far as rainy Glasgow for New Year. Back to work tomorrow ..ho hum.. . We'll keep checking back to cheer ourselves by looking at your ugly mug in various locations.
Hope the rest of your trip is as much fun!
Take Care

Hi Emma. Sorry for the blank message just now but this technology thing is still a bit advanced for my generation and I pressed the wrong button.
Hope the New Year is a great one for you and you get all the adventures to last you a life time. It all sounds and looks fantistic on the web site. Mind you as I wash the car and iron my shirts ready to go back to work on Tuesday I guess most things would look fantastic on the web site.
Thanks for the info regarding setting up a the web site. I hope to persuade Paul to do the same before he embarks on his travels so we can keep up in touch.
Take great care of yourself as you travel on to carnival and keep the photo's up to date. Roy

Greetings from Snowy Sowood - a white Christmas for us which was great until we realised that we'd booked a 3 day golf break for 2 days after the fluffy stuff fell. Soooo - on Monday we duly drove down to Shropshire ready to give the swimming pool and the jacuzzi some serious visiting only to find the snow vanishing before our eyes 5 miles north of the hotel - who says there isn't a 'Big Bearded Boy in the Sky?' Nice to see one member of the family is capable of some serious mountaineering - you've probably been regaled by Pops and Huncle Nige about their exploits on 'A-Knacker Egacher' and other such foothill size bumps in Scotland, but those things get done in one day, not a 4day epic like wot u dun - wusses!! After that we got down to the serious stuff - 6 bottles of white and 6 bottles of red had to be 'blind tasted' at J's & B's on Wednesday night to make a decision about wedding hooch - can't remember the decision but the tasting bit was O.K.
Christmas donation en-route via Pops when we see him on Sunday - we're 'New Yearing' in Durham.
Enjoy,enjoy,enjoy.
