If you can see the white spots in this photo you're looking at albatross chicks. This is a colony on the Otowa peninsular on the East coast. They are the only mainland colony of albatross in the worls. We got even more lucky when one of the parents gilded in to feed its baby.... it was massive. Annoyingly, this is the best photo from my camera.
