Hi from Melbourne! Day 1 (10.04.04) It took us a while to get here - 11 hours we booked ourselves onto a night bus so we could kip our way through the journey :) It all looks pretty cool so far, very different to Sydney and there are trams everywhere (don't worry I'm watching Karen very closely! haha). Tonight we are going to a cabharet restaurant called Dracula's - we've been looking forward to this for ages now, you get taken to your table by a ghost train how wicked is that! I'll let you know what it was like tomorrow.... x Day 4 (13.04.04) ooops I haven't managed to get onto the website as much as I could in Sydney - our hostel is quite a way from town. Its Tuesday now and we're flying home tomorrow! We've spent the last 4 days cramming in as much as we could before we have to head back to reality. Dracula's was a BRILLIANT night! The dinner was fab, my favorite was pudding - a chocolate coffin which praline cream filling yummy! The show was excellent and really funny. Sunday we did a 12 hour tour of the Great Ocean Road, stopping to walk through rainforests and check out the amazing things like the Twelve Apostles - first time we've had to wear our jackets out, the weather down here is quite strange - one minute its boiling hot and the next its freezing cold. Monday was 'Neighbours' day tee hee, we visted Ramsey St by day and got our piccies taken by Lou, Harolds, Toadies house etc and that night we met Dr Karl, Stuart and Izzy at the Trivia night - it was very surreal meeting them as people! Today we had a much needed lay in and then hit the shops for some last minute souvenior purchases.... we leave tomorrow morning to head up to the airport so tonight we are chilling and packing our bags for the last time..
