Thanks for e-mail.Having looked at the runs at Whistler I've decided there are several to avoid!!Don't be fooled that they appear mid-way up the mountain (which is about four times the height of Alpbach), but a clue must surely be found in their names, such as "Black Magic", "Sorcerer" , "Sledge Hammer" and probably most frightening of all - "Freefall". I advise you go for "Upper Whiskey Jack" ie. whichever one you decide on get pissed first! To tell you the truth i'm jealous as hell!!! (but realistically probably a lot safer too!!!).Take lots of photos as love to see if they live up to their reputation;I hear it's fanastic skiing.Have fun and don't foget stare into their eyes when you say "Cheers!!".Love Charlie

Hi Em
Just got back from drowning my birthday sorrows so have only just had a look at the latest stage in your expedition, but it sounds like you've been doing all the proper sightseeing tours of Seattle which we should have done the first time round! And all the proper refreshment breaks too, talk about rain, you sound like you've been drinking it dry! Well done!
Hope you've taken a photo of yourself under the space needle and we can do a comparison - then and now!!!
Am incredibly jealous of your trips and tours and cannot wait to see all the photos!
Take care, speak soon, love always - Em xxx

Em, brilliant web site, brilliant piccies and top news on all your travels. I am still very excited for you and your wanderings and Vancouver looks great, thanks for checking it out for us, Ay :-) All is well here in the UK. I have just got back from Ireland and all my gang send you their love. We miss you loads but can see you are doing important work in bringing rain to draught ridden countries. I look forward to lots more updates.
Helen
You sound to be having a fabulous time. Seriously considering requesting a year from my job to do the same. We'll see. I've just come back from a week in Lourdes as a volunteer helper with a group of handicapped children, Had a fab time and will definately go again, but very tired. I have had more religion in the last week than in the past year, but enjoyed all the 'happy clapping' singing. Really proud of myself as I know know all the words - and actions to the Noah song! Take Care H x
Michaela
Hi Hon, it has taken a while but at least I have finally managed to get around to posting something! Still v jealous that you are off whilst I'm stuck here with a ridiculous cold in the rain - some things never change hey? Love the picture of the bears - they look so cute! Sounds like you are having a ball, but there does appear to be a lack of gossip - surely there must be some?
Must go before the children kill each other - take care & speak soon, Michaela xx
Andrea

Good to hear you're having a fab time. When will you get a chance to ski? Don't get too good, as it will be annoying and I may be forced to brave the friction burns and go to the dry slopes!Mel is looking well, and feels much better now which is excellent news.Kind Regards
