From Bangkok we got next coach to Puket there was few people on coach so we had loads of room for the overnight journey ,it was luxury until 3 hours into trip there was a loud bang and it broke down,we waited 2 hours for another coach the whole trip took 18 hours. Wegot a public bus to Karen and found guesthouse called "mylee" for 500 baht. we went to the beach were simon hired a boogie board there was really big waves. a big pufferfish got washed up on beach which we tried to save to no avail. Next day we moved to "Patong" which was more lively we found the "sunset guesthouse" for 400 baht were we stayed for 1 night but smelt of damp so we moved to another for 350 baht with free internet and brectfast it was pouring with rain. Puket was ok but is like the benedorm of thailand , we booked boat to Phi Phi.
