Hi Emma - sorry i didn't reply yesterday but your email was quarantined for you being so rude (not really just because you said s***!!!!! - but our IT system is super defensive!!!!!). Happy 12th Birthday Kimba (well it will be the 14th in KL now). Chloe - what is all this gossip - i want to know!!!! Today is the day Christmas decoration should be up and not being in my house yet mine aren't and i am really not feeling the Christmas spirit!! Emma you are so adventurous - in KL and you still manage to find Butter Chicken - is it even as good as Amaans? It will be so wierd having a really hot Christmas day in the sun - there is a girl at work at the moment and she s from Australia and is going to Walkabout in Leeds for Christmas day! Anyway i will update you on the house - we are moving in at the weekend so it will be really manic and i am not looking forward to the mess!!!

Sounds fantastic - bet you are missing the cold wet winter back home....not. Are you still all set for xmas in Oz ? It will be really strange having a christmas in the sun - I know we still cant get used to it and thats after 9 years !! I have provisionally booked a weeks holiday breaking up Friday 19th Jan (the last full week of Jan) If this does not fit in with your plans just let me know and I will see if I can change it. Hopefully our weather should have picked up by then - we are still getting some very windy days.

Good to hear from you Debs - yes the concert was brilliant - it was worth it just to see Dave's excitement as he was singing and dancing along with Bono! Jack has finished school until early Feb now and is working day and night in order to save for a car - he is hoping to buy one just after christmas.........yikes my baby behind the wheel......scarey !!

Hey Linda - was thinking about you yesterday as we took off to the beach, collecting Jumbo Oysters from Clevedon on the way - it was great because it was midweek so no-one about - the only problem was the beach we went to (a remote little sandy cove a bit further away from the one we went to) had started to do work in the car park - so once the 4 workmen had finished sunbathing and having a swim, they started with the diggers which at first was quite novel and took us back to hols in spain with new hotels been built around you, but after a while decided to head back home and have a nice spa instead !!

Oh I cant wait to listen to that CD Debbie sounds soooo interesting! I'll just have to thank you with showing you a slide show of my hundreds of photographs and disscussing each one in depth with diagrams and of course there will be a quiz at the end!

Oh and I forgot to tell you about my toenail. Well as some of you know I am extremely clumsy and I must have whacked my toe at some point before we came away. Well it finally came off! I was going to post it home to my mum for xmas but put it on the side in the hotel in Koh Samui and forgot it ha ha some maid will love that! So My big toe now officially resembles a sausage, its not a good look ha ha xxx

We were very sad to leave thailand but hopefully we will have just as much fun in the new places. Really looking forward to Aussie!!

Hi, I've just been having my weekly read of your journal. Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. The photos are brilliant, you both look like you're really enjoying it all.

(Chrissy, how was your concert? Chris and the boys are going to see Iron Maiden supported by Trivium next week - I thought I'd give that one a miss!)

We've just been putting up our Christmas tree. Ben didn't want to help until he realised that it involved chocolate. Somehow one of the wrappers came off so he had to eat that one - surprise surprise!

We're busy at school making Christmas cards etc and practising for our carol concert. We have had a CD made this year. Don't worry Emma I'll dig it out for you to listen to when you get back. We had our Christmas dinner at school on Thursday and we've still got 2 weeks left to go!
