Hi Emma. We've (at last) managed to place a message on here.....and now have nothing to say! Emailed Sarah at weekend - she seems strangely keen to leave the fog and frost, the traffic and commuting, the shopping mall, the work, the emails, the chavs and hoodies (families, eh!) and get back to Thailand and then Australia. Can't think why!

Read your blog. Isn't Christmas just the wierdest thing in hot climates? We used to have a laugh when they put false snow on trees and sing about Frosty the Snowman, Deep and Crisp and Even, etc like they know!!!!

As we're at home this year, we're going out on Christmas Eve to the noodle restaurant and are determined to wear shorts and flip-flops in your honour (and maybe a drop of false tan).

HI Ems - your journey sounds pretty scary at times and i must say Vietnam does not sound that appealing anymore or may be just the beach resorts are the places to go. We've been tubing today - an experience to say the least! For anybody who doesn't know what it is - you get in these inflatable rings and float down a river stopping at little bars on the banks and drink and swing off zipwires and HUGE swings!! V dangerous but so much fun! I'll tell u more about it in my next blog...have to go take care of Mike now...long story!! HA!
