Dear Em, have worked out how to use the site now- thank you for the hint! Sounds like you're having a truly special time- in fact india tourism should be hiring you for promotional purposes. Glad also that the children are a joy. Best wishes will write more another time xx

Hi Emma
Lovely poem. Glad you are really making the most of every experience - would not have expected otherwise! Work is v hectic here but weather not so cold which means less shivering and less doing battle with the frost on the windscreen in the mornings.Love you.

Hi Ems,
I'm so sorry I didn't speak to you before you left, or write something earlier... I've just finished all those exams I was studying for before christmas and its lovely to see daylight again and hear what a wonderful time you're having. I've not located the any pictures yet? Please please please don't take a million pics of the same thing or the same place. I want to see lots of pics of people as well so I can but names to faces. (I know what you and Hannah are like with your snappy happy fingers!) Going to be typical English and tell you about the weather... only because there's snow here, even in London, its fantastic! Made a little snowman with the snow on the bonnet of my car!! Anyway sounds like you're having an amazing time, loving hearing about it all. Keep up the detail in your messages!
Missing you loads, lots of love, Gabs xxxx
Emma
Hi everyone. Just wanted to say thank you so much for your lovely messages, they are so nice to read. I'm glad you like the site - I'll be doing another big update at the end of the week - I just have to put aside enough time and at the moment there is a queue of people waiting for this computer.
Jo -, just go onto the postcard section to read my blog.
Andrea - I haven't needed a headscarf at all which is great. I have had no problems at all with blonde hair so far and it isn't too hot so i can even wear it down.
Ali, els, han - love you all too and thinking of you all.
Rob - hope teaching is still going well. Have an idea of what it is like for you now.
Lauen - soo nice to hear from you and hope exams went ok.
Clare - hope Nottm still good, hehe i thought Id start of the blog intelligently but I'm sure it will go down hill.
Loz - Not sure which part of the world you are at now but hope its going well.
Sorry if iv missed someone off which i probably have.
Dad - happy birthday again and I'll speak to you, Mum, Char at the weekend or after, depending when I get back from Agra.
lots of lovexx

Also impressed with the Forster - when did you get so intellectual and literary??!! lol sorry this has taken so long for me to write - my computer is dying at the moment!!
Its going to be really weird not seeing you! Try and stay safe and keep the Emma style blonde moments to a minimum! ;) ha sending lots of love and will keep you updated on any gossip from nottingham!

hey darling,
missing you loads, glad to hear you're getting on ok. By its own nature India can often be overwhelming i think, taking only 5 days to settle in and come to terms with everything is pretty amazing! Glad your work is fun and interesting. If you fancy a blow out meal with wine and good food try DV8 in CP, it has salads and everything! Really sorry about not getting the photos on facebook before you left, I couldn't get my computer to work. I'm still trying to get them on and I'll let you know when I do so if you get to go on the internet for a long time you can see them. Hope you stay well and stay safe, don't let all the nice people let you let your guard down! Chancers are everywhere (lovely sentiment I know). Love you loads, hope to hear from you again soon,
love hannah x

Hey Em! Sounds like you're having an amazing time. I thought Essex was the most happening place in the world until you filled me in on India. Glad you're settling in. Be sure to keep keeping us updated. Rob x

A "muddle" or a "mystery"?! Glad to see 'Passage to India' hasn't left you. I think it'll hold you in good stead as you try to come to terms with the place; the only adjective I could come up with was 'crazy'!
The thought of you in a tuk-tuk has amused me; I can just envisage your blonde hair streaming out as you weave through motorbikes, cows, donkeys and everything else on the road!
Keep bumbling, Em. Sounds like you'll be doing a really worthwhile job. Lots of love, Loz x x
