Arrived Friday and headed to see Dr Hook. Was a fun concert, lots of old tunes and memories. Saturday we headed into the City to have a look around. Did more retail therapy than anything. Coffee & scone from a container cafe then a walk to the Memorial Wall, the ruins of the Catherdral and to see the Cardboard Catherdral. All very depressing and hard to believe it was six years ago the earthquake happened and such distruction still visible. Headed to the Tannery a cool shopping area with lovely shops. Dinner was at Francescas a delicious Italian restuarant. To the movies to see ** and home. A lazy Sunday morning and drive to airport. A lovely catch up with Meg in her lovely new home. Hopefully all will be resolved and sorted soon.
