Quick blog update from Sa Pa - we have had a great few days in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. Stayed on a boat overnight in the bay itself - surreal to wake up to such views. It stretches for miles and miles, and is simply peaceful and beautiful. Met a great Australian couple and a nice young couple who have been livingin Dubai, Welsh lad from Pembroke and a brummy girl (remind you of anyone....) We then took the overnight train (amazing - the best nights sleep we've had in ages!) sharing with some chatterbox Malaysians - very funny. We arrived in Sa Pa, mountains far north in Vietnam. We've had a great morning trekking around the local Hmong village - Cat Cat, down to the waterfalls, and seeing how they live. Our guide - a local Hmong called Zi, was great and joked around with me and Sean. She wanted me to get her a husband - I said she could have Sean!!

We're off for a full days trekking tomorrow, through three different ethnic villages, staying for lunch in one of them, before getting the sleeper train back to Hanoi to head south. Its all fantastic adventures here!
