Hey, hope you are both well and having fun, by the looks of the photos you are! Please keep posting them gives me something interesting to look at work! I think you have done more in the last month than I have in last year so not much news to update you on!! Things pretty much the same as when you went; Will been working rediculously long hours so figured only way we get to spend time together is on a holiday (oh what I shame) so I had to book us into an all-inclusive resort in Rhodes next week!! so excited!

Got into Maputo on Wednesday. Virgin delayed my flight until the following morning (think you can call that a cancellation). But by that time I'd missed my connecting flight from Jo'Berg to Mozambique so they had to put me up overnight. Managed to get to Maputo a day late.

Not sure I'm going to like this place...tho I think it will be a great experience.

The place is so dirty and run down. The paths are more dangerous than the roads! Also keep getting pursued by annoying men wanting to buy their rubbish. Problem is: Maputo is not a tourist destination and they've got no one else to bother!

Anyway, should get some sun. Going to sit on my balcony. Can't be bothered to make my way around yet. I'll be there long enough. Just want to keep away from the bustle until I get used to things :)

Hey guys, Just a few places you might want to try in Bali. Ubud market and monkey forest was really good. Get your bartering skills up to scratch and they will pretty much give you the things off the market for free. Be careful of your bag in the monkey forest else they will have it away. Jimbaran beach is lovely for your fish restaurants however as you know i am not a fish fan. You definitely need to go on the elephant trek but i'm not sure where that was becasue we just got on a bus and they took us. Also El if you fancy a pamper session dead cheap go to one of the spas they are really good and really cheap! Have fun and let me know what you did. Speak soon. Lots of love. x x x x x x x

What I really missed today after being on a bus all night and then getting to KL this morning at 5 am was a really nice cup of tea, so I made Chris go to a swanky hotel so I could have a proper cuppa with nice tea cups, it was sooooooooooo good!

Hair dryer not so much but I wouldn't mind my straigtheners to keep my hair in line! We are going to Bali today, so if you have any recommendations please let us know!

Nice to hear from you also Bec and Trev, we are a litte brown but not too much, hopefully 10 days in Bali will do the trick! I think I will spend the 20 pounds on a white water rafting trip in Bali, but will keep you informed, thanking you. It's nice you are trying something different, who knows you may enjoy it being nosey and seeing what people are up to! Maybe you may go in that direction also (I'm talking about the HR thing, by the way)!!!

just caught up with your latest escapades, even the bus journeys are exciting. nath came to pack his things yesterday and to say goodbye, he flies tomorrow evening. have just had chars lot to lunch for her b-day, v. nice except for burning the roast pots! then we had a good long session on the wiiiiii, so that was fun.due to take monty out now but it is hurtling down.we are at the lincoln vet on tues. nothing much else planned as yet. really looking forwatd to seeing your pics. from bali. carry on having fun, wish i was with you. xxxxx

Things here have not been particularly interesting, except i will be working in our HR department as a recruitment manager for 3 days a week as someone is off long term sick. This should be interesting!!!! Will let you know how i get on, but i am determined not to let my reception dept suffer!! Trev has now applied for another job so we will see how he goes with that. Everyone else is fine - Rach still looking for a job but enjoying working at MPH to earn some money. How you getting onw ith your backpack, not fallen over yet??? Hey El, hows the travels so far? Looks like you are seeing some 'interesting' places. You got a tan yet? You would have been proud of me yesterday i did a 5K run for the Race for Life. Not quite your 10K but its a start. I'll keep you updated with the job news too. Had an interview on Friday. Went ok but i'm not too sure about the role as it is quite specilised and i'm not sure if i want to become a specalist just yet. Hope your writing in your journal. Me and Ian are off down to Surrey at the weekend to see Ian's brother and sister in law and baby Evan. Probably not as exotic as where you are going to be. Where have you got planned to go next?
