So we got to Agra on Saturday morning and stayed in the Sandiya Palace Hotel. We managed to bargain a room for 3 people to 400 rupees which was great, especially seeing as the tuk tuk on the way had kept insisting we shouldn't go there because it was "so expensive" (it worked out to less than $2 each). I think this might be a pretty long blog, sorry in advance! On Saturday I said goodbye to my new friends in Bagsu at Sky Pie and headed off to Mcleod Ganj. So I know I've only been in India for just over a week, but it's been a pretty eventful week so thought I'd return to the trusty blog for any update-wanters. Arrived in Delhi around 08.00 local time. The flight itself was pretty fun. Met Sunni on the first flight to Bombay who has been travelling for a while and was telling me about his memories of India from when he was little (hasn't been for a while). So I've finally grabbed some time to update on the last of the African experience and the beginning of the Indochina tour. The rest of my time in Zimbabwe was amazing, I tried the local delicacy of mpangi worms dipped in chilli sauce (not something I would ever recommend), and also had a taste of crocodile and warthog. Crocodile was actually quite nice, warthog wasn't horrible. We went to see Victoria falls the day after my last blog and it really was incredible...

So I've now left my wonderful hostel and started my overlanding trip (which is also luckily wonderful). The last few days were quite intense, but very sweet, I was given a traditional african dress and scarf by Mama Mary when I went to say goodbye to the Special Needs School and all the kids sang me a song. Then when I went to say goodbye to MeruView 2 of the kids gave me goodbye presents (a bracelet and some earrings) and all the kids in my class made me cards ...
