Heya everyone,

So were now in Koh tao, i have just completed my open water diving course it was amazing, we saw jelly fish, butterfly fish, trigger fish, beautiful coral, it was really good. We are having a meeting tonight to get our certificates and watch the video which they made of us today.

We arrived in koh tao a day early so we started our course that day, we were in a group of 11, the first day was quite boring we had to sit in a class room an watch videos and do quizzes and stuff. We met a girl called elle and we went out with her and a boy she met from bangkok on our first night, we all got quite drunk and it was really good ended up getting in the swimming pool about 2 in the morning lol.

The second day we done some more videos and quizzes and then started practising diving in the swimming pool, where are group went down to 9, cus kev and another girl couldnt do it, but the instructors said that happens most of the time. That night me kev and elle went and saw a lady boy show which was funny, kev wouldnt get up on the floor wih them tho lol, he said they were scary lol.

Yesterday we took our exam and headed out to sea, were we practised our skills we learnt and went down to 10 meters and saw a few fish but it wasnt that intresting, i got a really bad ear and had to get some ear drops because of the pressure. I didnt think id be able to do the last two dives but the next morning they werent to bad. Also our 'waterproof' camera broke when i went snorkelling with it in the sea so now were trying to get a new one. hopefully our pics on the memory card will still be there.

So today we had our final two dives where they video recorded us, and it was so good much better than the day before, there was so much more coral and fish to see and we went 18 meters deep.

We have one more day here and then were off to Samui for two days and then Krabi for five days. Has Becky got married now then, congratulations if she is? and what book is it that ur reading? the harlan coben one? Yea were really looking forward to going to see jason and mel cant believe India is 4 already, we will give them a big hug for you Carla, you must be due your baby soon, make sure you update us and ur have to send some pics over. Happy birthday to Roma hope you all have a good time.
