At Clermont for the night - great old train station (pictured), nice wide roads (typical in QLD towns, but unfortunately less typical on major roads with oncoming road trains and wide loads - have seen tyres 3-4m diameter being transported on flatbed trucks, presumably heading for mines) and generally quiet small town.
Enjoying first XXXX (the beer) for the trip with Eleanor at local (boys next door on the pokies)...
