Much time spent just wandering around the beach near the camping ground here - plenty of driftwood, crabs, rocks and grey nomads to keep the boys interested (also yet another playground, with space-age equipment but no instructions... hopefully that was what we were supposed to do on that one).

Added to the fishing tackle collection this evening on the bridge at The Entrance on the way back to the caravan park. Unsure if bridge fishing here is appropriate, however our roof rack collected this lot very noisily (at about 60km/h) after a nearby angler with great timing managed to release from a snag and fling his rig roadwards. Unfortunately no footage of resulting (rather short and fruitless) battle he had attempting to reel in our vehicle, as it may have...

Our tour of Australian playgrounds suitable for 2-4 year olds continues with a brief stop in a well-equipped (the bouncy grasshopper-like riding thingy was very popular) and quiet example in the back streets of Gosford, on the way to The Entrance.

Arrived Canberra...

Bonfire at Grandpa Doug's tonight....all messages from Canberra warning against the COLD!!!! Haven't packed full ski gear - but we're headed to the Bez on Friday anyway!
