Malibu is a nice place! I thought it was going to be a flashy retreat for the rich of LA but that's not entirely the case. Don't get me wrong the place is full of incredible houses with 3-car-garages and sometimes a personal lift to their own little beach, but the whole thing is quite tasteful. Our trip throughout NZ found the perfect ending as we spent the last two days in Auckland with Jason and Sam. Escape to Blenheim! After spending a day in Franz Josef glacier, where we trekked up to the glacier itself and stayed at a really cool rain forest campsite, we started driving north along the west coast.
