It's the 28th May and we have been in Los Angeles for a few days. When we arrived last night we met up with Charlotte who we met on our Fiji trip and we saw the hangover 3 in the chinese theatre across the street. It was hilarious!
Today we have been so busy... We only had one full day here so we booked a day tour which took us around various famous tourist attractions in and around LA. Across the road from our hostel is the Chinese theatre where all the stars hand and footprints are on the ground outside so we checked that out. Then we looked at some of the stars along the pavement with the movie and music stars names on. We then stopped at rock walk, which is where all the well known rock musicians have handprints on the floor. We also visited Santa Monica beach and pier and then Venice and muscle beach. We saw the Hollywood sign (from a distance) and went down Rodeo Drive where all the expensive designer shops are. We then took another tour around the movie stars homes and saw loads of people's current and previous homes like Simon Cowell, Elizabeth Taylor, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, The Osbournes, Christina Aguilera, Marilyn Monroe and Al Pacino
Along with other well known buildings and sites in La and Beverly Hills. Lastly we went to Madame Tussaud's waxwork museum and saw loads of celebs (shame they weren't real!) although some looked so real they freaked us out!
There are loads of people dressed up in fancy dress everywhere here and loads of crazy people on the street but its a good atmosphere.
I really like Los Angeles it's a shame we only had one full day to spend here as theres loads to see and do but I'm sure I'll come back!
We start our America tour early tomorrow which will be good. We leave Los Angeles and head to San Diego tomorrow for our first night.
