G'day there. Gettin warmer old mates! She'll be right, just don't drink too many cold cans out in the sun. Cups of hot water or tea help you stay cool, fair dinkum. Stops ya sweatin any how. Gatoraid won't hurt ya either. I wish we had your problem with the heat down in NSW but we're about 6 months away for that. You might hit the good old 45 degree days if your lucky ;) . Good news about booking a camping spot. You lot might wana invest in a portable a/c unit, just for back up. They're a bloody life saver! We're glad your having a cracker of a time and enjoying all the local tucker. It won't be long now before you both start speaking with a you beaut Aussie accent........crikey! Wishing you all the best in the great outdoors xxxxx

Hi Chris and Steph
Great to read your blog and look at the photos. I imagine the desert is amazing. I spent 3 days in Dunedin last week - 2 on business an stayed until Saturday so a nice opportunity for a catch up. Was funny with you two not being there. We're all good here. Look forward to reading more as you go. The north will be amazing I'm sure.
cheers

Hi guys! Wow you're getting close to the middle of Oz. I bet the night sky looks amazing, in total darkness. The opal mines would be great to see. Feel free to send as many opal gifts as you like lol. Steph have you been visited by any big spiders, scorpions or snakes yet? Dad I hope you don't fall asleep at the wheel listening to Neil Diamond on auto repeat! It's funny I'm used to you guys being 2 hours behind the times but now you're half a hour ahead. 20 degrees sounds cold for the desert, but you'll probably hit the 30's soon. A nice warm place to be now that it's Winter already. We're freezing in Sydney, with 12 degree early morning temps! ;) I really enjoy reading your blog and I'm sure if it was on fb, it would be going viral. Take care guys and lots of love from us all xxxx
P.s if a Neil Diamond CD wears out (which it will), give me a shout and I'll have my courier race a new one out to you over night :)
