Today I got up really early to say goodbye to my mommy :( She had to drive back to Arizona by herself. I thought I wouldnt cry but it did kind of hit me hard. So when she left I cried for a little bit and then stayed on the couch the whole day and didnt get anything accomplished. The days are going to start closing in on me If I dont start using them better then this... so hopefully tmrw I get up and do something. haha

Well we finally made it to Cali! Got up this morning and did a little packing and said goodbye to John and Dude :( then finally left Arizona around 1230. Today was an easy drive but one thing that made it better was sunflower seeds. Why did we not get any before!? Oh well. Left Oklahoma this morning at 730am which would have been 530 in Arizona and finally got there at 1030 which would have been 1230 in Oakllahoma. And I drove the whole way! Wow it was really exhausting but i am glad it is over. Well me and my mom got on the road today to take the long drive from Iowa to California. A little less then half way we stopped to see a dear friend of mine Red! I always try to see her whenever it's possible. It was so great to catch up and have a few laughs. I love having someone in my life that I dont have to see everyday or even every year and she still has a major impact on my life. Thank you Red! Well today was st pats... So of course I went to the parade in emmetsburg. But today was also the day I had to say bye to my family :( I have left them before but I was never going so far away. And it's really hard to know that I cant see them for a year. I am so excited for my adventure but at the same time it's hard to leave my nephews and niece.
