The clock tower on the front of the cathedral has an animated movement which operates at various times during the day. On this one the trumpeters raise their instruments as the bells of the cathedral toll the hour. There are always numerous bell tolls throughout the city on the hour due to the many churches located in the city with quite a number in the old walled town area where we stayed.
