We bid our fond farewell to the Aqua Lounge (see pic) & the guys we'd met there & returned to the mainland via a much dryer & smoother 20mins boat ride in the midday sun. An hours minibus ride later with 3 other travellers for $5 each & we were at the Costa Rican border, entering our 49th country. (50 countries here we come!!!). It took us another hour & a half public bus ride to Puerto Viejo, where we checked into Larry's Cabins, (a recommendation from Roy & Jon) & took a stroll around this coastal travellers town. A late fish lunch & then I had a lay down for a snooze. However that was the end of that! I didn't wake up again until 10pm, so we decided to say sod it & stay in.
